Virtual Auction Success

Done and dusted in a flash was Tuesday evenings momentous virtual auction of 92 Gordon Street in Hawthorne, presented to the market by Scott Darwon and Jonathan Peck of Ray White Bulimba. 

Due to increasing buyer activity, heightened by the pressure cooker of a locked down Brisbane market, the buyers pushed for an earlier auction. It went ahead after just seven days on the market with only 2 open homes. Talk about the one that got away!!!

16 buyers registered, each with a Ray White Bulimba or New Farm representative on the phone for assistance, for the virtual event held in auctioneer Haesley Cush’s home study. A huge online audience tuned in via Instagram live as well as over 70 in the bidding ‘room’ (plus Haes’ three very patient kids in the hallway), to watch the bidders battle it out from an opening bid of $1.7 million quickly ascending to the eventual sale price of $2,501,000. 

A NEW record sale for the suburb, beating the 405m2 Hawthorne record set by Ray White Bulimba just six weeks prior!!
