No matter whether you're just starting out in your chosen career or are eyeing up a new challenge, Queensland could well be the place for you at the moment.
The state government has announced plans to give training and qualifications a boost, which could ultimately benefit anyone living in Hawthorne real estate.
It has been working closely with local industry to determine exactly what skills are in demand at the moment, before building a new set of qualifications that should help meet the shortage.
"The government has committed to funding 11 additional qualifications under the Certificate 3 Guarantee, with the remaining 19 qualifications and eight skill sets funded under the Higher Level Skills Program," revealed minister for education, training and employment John-Paul Langbroek.
Among the qualifications that will now be subsidised by the authorities include those in the health, tourism, hospitality and utilities sectors, so there are plenty of options open to you.
The plan will not only bring new prospects to local people, but also boost the state's economy, which will have positive knock-on effects for everyone who lives there.
Qualifications included in the scheme will be subsidised straight away, while funding for skills sets will begin as of January next year.
