There are many advantages to buying new property in Bulimba, which might explain why so many people are taking this option for their next purchase.
The latest HIA New Home Sales Report for September points to a rise in the sale of new real estate, with multi-units leading the charge.
Detached house sales were especially strong in Queensland, as they marked a rise of 13.4 per cent in September compared to the previous month.
The state bucked the national trend, as chief economist of the Housing Industry Association (HIA) Harley Dale pointed out that the picture wasn't quite so bright across the rest of the country.
"Seasonally adjusted detached house sales fell by 2.3 per cent during the month to be down by 6.5 per cent over the September 2014 quarter," noted Dr Dale.
