The suburb of Morningside is already an idyllic one. You probably don't need to be reminded of why it's such a great place to live or to raise a family. With lush surroundings, fine dining and nearby schools, the picture speaks for itself.
But if that wasn't enough to convince you, you'll just have to witness the many families with Morningside real estate attending the Mummy Tree Markets at the State Hockey Centre this 29 June.
It's an all ages event which provides the perfect diversion during the winter school holidays. There will be more than 80 stalls offering boutique products and services for the most stylish families – think handmade jewellery, handcrafted children's clothing and face painting.
There'll also be children's entertainment, so your kids will also get something fun to do when you're finished browsing.
Best of all, you don't have to pay anything to enter – it's all absolutely free.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., so you've got plenty of time to join the rest of the Morningside visitors.
Don't worry about the weather by the way – the venue is mostly under cover with lots of parking, so there's little chance of anything raining on your parade.
