We're really lucky to live in Bulimba real estate. We've got historic heritage sites, brilliant riverside views and other great amenities, but are you really taking advantage of all that Bulimba has to offer? The Brisbane City Council have put together all of the local fitness groups, so we've compiled the best free ones in our area.
Free fitness groups
- Zumba – Get your Saturdays off to a flier by getting fit through a mixture of dancing and aerobic exercises. It's fun and easy for all ages and fitness levels. Classes take place at 9-10am on Saturday mornings at New Farm Park.
- Pilates – Improve your core strength, mobility and flexibility through these exercises. Suitable for beginners to intermediate skill levels, taking place at T.C. Beirne Park 3:30-4:30pm every Tuesday in November.
- Boxing for Mums – Mums come down to Hawthorne Park on Wednesday mornings at 9:30am for boxing activities and interval training. Babies are welcome too!
- Cross training – Head to Bedford Playground Park on Mondays at 5:15pm for boot camp style exercises. It's for all ages and fitness levels, you just need to contact Jen's Outdoor Gym to book a place.
Now that you know about these groups, you have no reason to not get out, get fit and enjoy everything our lovely area has to offer.
