The Brisbane City Council is holding information sessions on Monday December 2 to discuss the range of grants it has available to community members.
Morningside real estate residents are invited to come along to learn more about the art and history grants, awards and fellowships it offers to artists, creatives, art workers, historians and non-profit community groups in the area.
Two information sessions will run on the day and are free to the public. You can book online or simply come along to Brisbane Square Library on Monday.
You'll hear an overview of the Creative Sparks grants program, Brisbane History Grants and the Lord Mayor's Young and Emerging Artists Fellowships.
People who have previously been successful in applications will be on hand to give talks on their experience and discuss how the grant helped to influence their creative careers and develop their projects.
You'll have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the application process and the grants themselves, so don't be afraid to speak up.
First time applicants for Brisbane City Council grants are encouraged to attend a session.
