With the school holidays fast approaching, parents of children living in Bulimba real estate will be pleased to know there are plenty of family friendly activities around Brisbane to fill in the spare time.
The weather is expected to stay balmy in Brisbane throughout April so trying out some of the city’s outdoor facilities might be just the ticket.
Take in the sites along the Brisbane River on the free-to-use CityHopper hop on hop off boat service, or head to the city botanical gardens and use one of the free deck chairs in the Chairs2Share program.
Colmslie Recreation Reserve, right near Morningside real estate, has a fishing platform and council pool. The park also has great spaces to run around and burn off some energy.
There are also a number of indoor and educational facilities to try out. The Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium has two new shows, “A Perfect Little Planet” and “Dynamic Earth,” just in time for the school holidays. Located just a short drive from the city centre the centre, this spot is perfect for a day or afternoon trip.
The Bulimba Library on Oxford Street will be open throughout the holidays and is a perfect destination for some quiet downtime for both children and their parents.
Those living in homes in Bulimba are in a prime position to utilise the many activities and facilities offered in the Brisbane City Centre.
